These include encryption of data in transit (SSL/TLS), controlled access, periodic security reviews, and staff training on data protection.
That said, no internet transmission or electronic storage method is completely secure. While we use commercially reasonable measures to protect your information, we cannot guarantee absolute security. You remain responsible for protecting your account credentials and for all activity under your account.
6. COOKIES AND TRACKING TECHNOLOGIES
6.1 Cookies We Use
The Site uses cookies and similar technologies to improve your experience, measure usage, and support marketing. These include:
- Essential Cookies: Required for core Site functions such as session management, cart operation, and security. These cannot be turned off.
- Analytics Cookies: Help us understand how visitors use the Site — pages visited, time on page, and navigation flows. We use tools such as Google Analytics for this.
- Functional Cookies: Support enhanced features and personalization, such as remembering preferences and login status.
- Marketing Cookies: Track visitors across sites to serve relevant advertising; these may be placed by third-party advertising partners.
6.2 Your Cookie Controls
Most browsers let you manage cookies in their settings — refusing all cookies, allowing only some, or alerting you when one is set. Disabling cookies may limit Site functionality, including login, ordering, and certain features.
6.3 Do Not Track
Some browsers send "Do Not Track" (DNT) signals. The Site does not currently respond to DNT signals, but you can manage tracking preferences through your browser and cookie settings as described above.
7. YOUR RIGHTS AND CHOICES
7.1 Reviewing and Updating Your Information
You can view, update, or correct your account details anytime by logging into your account or emailing support@peptsci.com. Changes to professional credentials may require re-verification.
7.2 Marketing and SMS Preferences
You may opt out of marketing emails by using the unsubscribe link in any message or contacting us directly. Even after opting out, we will continue sending transactional messages tied to your account and orders.
If you have consented to receive text messages from Peptsci (for example, order and shipping notifications), you can withdraw that consent at any time by replying STOP to any message or by updating your SMS preferences in your account settings. Reply HELP for assistance. Message frequency varies and message and data rates may apply. We do not share your mobile phone number or SMS consent with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing purposes; mobile information is used solely to deliver the messages you signed up for through our SMS provider acting on our behalf.
7.3 Deleting Your Account
You may ask us to delete your account by emailing support@peptsci.com. Some information may be retained where the law requires it or where we have a legitimate business need, such as regulatory compliance, tax recordkeeping, or dispute resolution.
8. STATE PRIVACY RIGHTS
Residents of certain U.S. states — including California (CCPA/CPRA), Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, Utah, Texas, Oregon, and Florida (Florida Digital Bill of Rights, where applicable) — may have additional rights under their state's privacy laws. Where these laws apply to you, your rights may include:
8.1 Right to Know / Access
You may request that we disclose the categories and specific pieces of personal information we hold about you, where we obtained it, why we collected it, and the categories of third parties with whom it has been shared.
8.2 Right to Delete
You may request deletion of personal information we collected from you, subject to legal exceptions (for example, information needed to complete a transaction, meet a legal obligation, or detect security incidents).
8.3 Right to Correct
You may ask us to fix inaccurate personal information we maintain about you.
8.4 Right to Opt Out of Sale or Sharing
Peptsci does not sell personal information and does not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. If that changes, we will update this Privacy Policy and post a "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information" link on the Site.
8.5 Right to Limit Sensitive Personal Information
Where we collect sensitive personal information (such as professional license numbers, financial account details, or precise geolocation), we use it only for purposes permitted by law — such as fulfilling requested services and maintaining security and integrity. You may request that we limit its use and disclosure to those purposes.
8.6 Right to Non-Discrimination
We will never penalize you for exercising your privacy rights. We will not refuse service, change pricing, or reduce service quality because you made a privacy request.
8.7 Submitting a Request
To exercise any right above, send a verifiable request to support@peptsci.com or call (816) 737-8724. We will confirm your identity by matching the details you provide against our records before acting on your request. You may also authorize an agent in writing to submit a request for you.
We respond to verifiable requests within forty-five (45) days. If we need more time (up to an additional forty-five days), we will let you know the reason and the extended timeline in writing.
8.8 California "Shine the Light"
Under California Civil Code Section 1798.83, California residents may ask about disclosures of personal information to third parties for those parties' direct marketing. Peptsci does not disclose personal information to third parties for their direct marketing purposes.
9. CHILDREN'S PRIVACY
The Site and our services are not intended for anyone under eighteen (18). We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If we discover we have collected information from someone under 18, we will delete it promptly. If you believe a minor has provided us information, contact us right away at support@peptsci.com.
10. THIRD-PARTY LINKS AND SERVICES

Your data may be stored and processed on secure servers operated by these providers behind firewalls. You can review Vercel's privacy policy at https://vercel.com/legal/privacy-policy and Stripe's privacy policy at https://stripe.com/privacy.
11. SOCIAL MEDIA
Peptsci maintains profiles on various social media platforms. When you engage with us on social media — liking, commenting, sharing, or messaging — the platform may collect data about that interaction. Your use of social platforms is governed by their privacy policies, not this one. We may use social media interactions to respond to inquiries and improve our services.
12. USERS OUTSIDE THE UNITED STATES
The Site and our services are intended for U.S. use only. We do not ship internationally, and our services are directed to U.S.-based healthcare professionals and research entities. If you access the Site from abroad, understand that your information may be transferred to, stored in, and processed within the United States, where data protection laws may differ from your jurisdiction's. Using the Site constitutes consent to that transfer and processing.
13. UPDATES TO THIS POLICY
We may revise this Privacy Policy periodically to reflect changes in our practices, technology, legal requirements, or other factors. Material changes will be posted on the Site with an updated "Last Updated" date, and we may also email you about significant changes.
